Croatia Photography Tour

01-14. October 2023

Join Branimir for a 14-day photography tour of one of the most beautiful and diverse natural and historic areas of southern Europe. Renowned for its natural beauty and cultural heritage, Croatia is rapidly gaining popularity as a travel destination. For the photographer in you, Croatia has an over-abundance and variety of opportunities. The country offers diverse culture, great food, ancient walled towns and medieval castles (such as Varazdin and Trakoscan castles and the ‘Pearl of the Adriatic’ – the walled city of Dubrovnik), coastal towns with stunning architecture, pristine beaches, and over 1,000 islands along the Dalmatian coast. Croatian interior is rich with forested mountains and natural jewels such as the Plitvice Lakes National Park, with 16 turquoise lakes, hundreds of inter-connected waterfalls, and spectacular karst formations. We will visit and photograph six out of seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites present in Croatia. Branimir was born and raised in Croatia, and knows the culture, language, and local customs to enrich your experience.

Important registration information

To hold you spot on this photo tour, a deposit of Cdn$ 400 will be required at the time of booking. You can send the deposit by cheque, bank e-transfer or a secure on-line payment (PayPal or credit card).

We require a minimum of 10 participants in order to run this photography tour. If the minimum number is not reached by early April 2023, the tour will be cancelled and deposits will be refunded to participants.

First installment ($2,000 minus the deposit) is due by 28. April 2023

Final payment is due no later than 28. July 2023.

Due to complexity of organizing this photography tour, registration fees are non-refundable if you have to cancel, for any reason, after May 1, 2023. Although we will try our best to re-sell your space (to be able to return your deposit), we highly recommend that you get a trip cancellation insurance. You are also required to have a valid medical and emergency insurance coverage suitable for international travel.

Travel insurance helps minimize the risk of financial losses you could incur in the event of a delay of your departure due to weather or airline strike, missed connections, your inability to travel for reasons such as illness, injury, unforeseen financial complications and other personal circumstances, or if you have to to cut your trip short for medical or any other reasons. Check with your credit card issuer – some credit cards offer insurance but it could be limited.

If you have any questions about this unique photographic experience or would like to be included on the mailing list for future tours and workshops, please contact Branimir at branimir [at] shaw.ca or call 306-220-5703 (Central Standard Time).
