       Sailing expedition
        to Greenland

About 90% of Greenland is under thick shield of ice - at places over 3000
metres deep. Unusual colour of the ice is due to light reflecting from compressed
          ice crystals.
A member of the crew stands in front of a glacier edge (place where the
ice breaks off into the sea and forms icebergs), near Narssaq.
